CHRIS ARONHALT
As Vice President of Operations, Chris Aronhalt
joined Synergy in January, 2001. Designed to
enhance structure and direction to the multiple facets
of Synergy’s operations, Chris
is responsible for overseeing all client service areas,
including, program development, creation of new Synergy
properties, overall program management, and, as a member
of the senior management team, providing input into the
vision and future direction of the Company. more
JIM BIRRELL
Jim Birrell, and his partner, Chris Aronhalt, formed Medalist
Sports in July 2004 to focus on marketing and directing
premier cycling events. In his role as Race Director, Birrell
has assisted in managing the Tour de Georgia since its
inception in 2003, spearheading the technical, operational
and television functions for this event and now as Managing
Partner and Race Director, the 2006 Tour de Georgia, the
inaugural Amgen Tour of California slated for February
2006 and The Cliffs USA Cycling Professional Championships
in September 2006. more
KELLY GREENE
Kelly Greene is the Venue
Director for Medalist Sports. In this role, Greene
develops, coordinates and implements local requirements
of participating Tour venues and communities for current
Medalist Sports clients and properties, including the Tour
deGeorgia, Amgen
Tour of California and The Cliffs USA
Cycling Professional Championships. more
VIRGINIA KAVANAUGH
Virginia is the Director of Client Services for
Medalist Sports. For clients such as the Tour de Georgia
she helps to execute the fulfillment of all national
sponsors’ benefits, assists with the coordination
of local and national sponsors, as well as the health
and awareness section promoting a healthy lifestyle and
the Georgia Cancer Coalition of the Tour expo. She also
manages the VIP hospitality program at each of the ten
host cities, the awards program, and the production of
all Tour signage. more
