Event Venue/Market Consultation
Medalist Sports works with local event host communities, municipalities and jurisdictions to plan and execute local sporting and cause-related events in conjunction with host venue local organizing committees.
Medalist provides oversight of the event venue selection process, development of proposal documents, venue/host city selection, contract negotiation, execution of venue requirements and facilitating city and state agency relationships.
Medalist provides management of the local organizing committees and the functional areas of event planning, including: logistics, grassroots marketing/promotions, media operations, sponsorship fulfillment, volunteers, accreditation, vendor relations, concessions, ancillary events, Expo integration, insurance/risk management and contract execution and compliance.
Our company also drives the development of event management and marketing programs that successfully promote an event locally, regionally and nationally. These programs include marketing and promotions, media relations, merchandising, logo and terminology guidelines, permitting and event regulations.

With over 40 years of experience in the sports marketing and management fields, the Medalist Sports staff can assist sports properties, sponsors and corporations in reaching their business goals and objectives. Operational and Technical Execution
Medalist Sports also assists with the development of event course maps, routing, venue design and construction, as well as assisting with the overall conduct of the event to ensure a properly managed and safe event.
Medalist Sports provides full operational support, including hotel accommodations, meals, meeting and auxiliary space requirements, event transportation needs and credentialing.
Medalist Sports manages event volunteer programs, including the development of positions and descriptions customized to your event; recruitment and training of local volunteers and creating volunteer recognition and/or incentive programs. Volunteer numbers can range from 600 to 6000 based on event needs.
Medalist also drives the development and management of Local Organizing Committees (LOCs) in event markets to help support the various functional areas of the event on the local level.
Medalist Sports manages the delivery and fulfillment of sponsor packages and benefits. Medalist Sports can oversee client service components, such as the production of all signage, including, but not limited to, banners, decals, technical signage, etc.; sponsor/VIP related activities, as well as manage the awards and hospitality programs.
Event expos management is a key component to creating a festival-like atmosphere at your event, while providing vendors and sponsors with significant exposure. Medalist Sports manages the Expo operations, permitting and placement for our clients. Another aspect of Medalist client servicing, includes identifying proper inventory and sales assets and managing/tracking the remaining and sold assets. Through client services Medalist Sports can help with brand building and customer relations before, during and after the event.

Medalist oversees the orientation of volunteers assisting with packet stuffing, bib labeling, registration, donations and packet pickup and establishes guidelines for Team Packets.
